...Health Insurance from Aviva
How do I apply for the 10% discount?
All premiums quoted for Health Insurance from Aviva include the 10% discount.
Premiums also include the government levy, are net of tax relief at source and take the appropriate ARTC loading and credit into account.

What is the Age Related Tax Credit (ARTC) loading?
In December 2008, the Government introduced legislation which has led to mandatory changes to the way health insurance premiums are calculated. This new legislation is effective from July 2009. The premium that you pay includes a levy which is in turn paid to the Revenue Commissioners. This calculation of your premium is outlined in your membership documents. If you are aged 50 or over, an increase to your premium is now applied, however, the Revenue Commissioners will pay an amount equal to this in the form of a tax credit on your behalf. As a result there is no increase to the net premium that you pay.
